Starting to look at where my feet are going, stepping on. Some really good looking items if you look closely. The mushroom has no crop applied and the weed has only minor crop applied. Both have enhanced color and sharpness. Thanks for looking and comments are welcome.
Shooting closeup really makes you start noticing things, doesn't it... Lovely shots, Greg. Beautiful light on the yellows, and I like the textures of the fungus.
A very blonde Turkey Tail (Trametes versicolor), which is a common bracket or shelf fungus, which grows on the sides of logs or trees. Unlike a mushroom, it is a fungus that has no stalk. It feels leathery to the touch.
Turkey Tail has a spoon or cup shape, up to four inches wide, and it is very colorful, ranging from brown, white, tan, orange, red, or purple, and sometimes all these colors at once. Turkey Tail caps often overlap each other.

Nikonian72 and Hot Texas. Thanks for viewing.
Nikonian72, thanks for the education. I seem to remember that all mushrooms have a stalk but forgot that. Thanks for the education, first of the day. Greg
