First, welcome to UHH.

I have learned that it is always better to spend the extra few dollars for original equipment regardless the item. Also, I never buy from internet suppliers other than recognized camera stores like B&H & Adorama in New York or Allen's in Philly. Customer service means more to me than saving a couple bucks.

Check these original Nikon brand, includes, shipping. I have bought from Hong Kong, no problem, however will take more time to arrive, but you will receive the Nikon brand original battery half the cost and buying two, save even more.

Thanks. Good to know.

I just joined today. I have enjoyed UHH and all the the usable information. I bought a replacement battery for my D610 by "DIGIPOWER". Does anyone know anything about the manufacturer and their reliability? Thanks in advance.

I prefer to use only batteries directly from the manufacturer of the camera. I've tried 3rd party batteries 3 times now and with every one, the battery lasted about a year and started losing ability to hold a charge as if it was a NiCad but it wasn't - it was a Lithium Ion. They all eventually got down to not charging at all and I had to throw them away. My cameras all still have their original batteries operating just as well as they did when the cameras were new.

Yes, the brand name batteries cost more than other brands, and other brands even claim bigger storage capacity (which is debatable) but I'm sticking to OEM manufacturer.

Certainly don't buy supposedly OEM brand batteries on eBay unless it's from Adorama or B&H because many of the ones on eBay are fakes with realistic looking labels on them. It's just like buying Dr headphones from anywhere but an authorized dealer. If you do, you ALWAYS get fakes that suck.
