I've created this wedding album and all I have to do is complete the cover with a combined image for the cover. It's a 12x12 album. I have a 24x12 black background with the back image already inserted and I'm just trying to add a 12x12 image for the front but the technique I used for the other 20 pages is not working now. I normally have the page I want to add to open and then open the other image, then drag that image to the right bottom corner of my screen and then pull it back up onto the image. That is not working now. When I drag back up I get nothing. Any ideas?

These are the two images I'm trying to combine, in case that helps. I was working with them as psd's but converted jpeg to post here.

Seeing them here it looks like the sizes are completely off. The one with the hug is supposed to be 24x12 so that it wraps around a 12x12 book with the hug on the back cover. The other should be 12x12 so that it covers the front of the book. I hope someone can help me out. I really appreciate any help anyone of you PP experts can offer. Thanks in advance.

In Photoshop create a new 24x12 background and fill with black.
From your picture file in Bridge select the first photo and from Bridge select File and then Place.
For the second photo follow the same procedure.
Hope this works for you.

A lady from the left side of the photo has her eyes closed, are you sure you want to use that photo?

So what you are saying you want a finished photo 36" X 12" if I understand you right.

The Group picture is 12 X12 with a 4.75 black header and footer.

Thanks for jumping in, Bill. No, I want a final image that's 12 high by 24 wide (to wrap around a 12x12 book). The group picture should be 12x12 with the group in the middle of the black top and bottom.

I'm on my way out to shoot football at a school in MD for my "day" job. I won't be back til 8:30ish eastern. I'll check back then to see if anyone else has posted any ideas.

Thanks again for being out there! (-:

SoHillGuy has preformed you request. Unless you wanted it the other way around. Hugger on the Viewers Left Side.

I think your proposed image is undersized. With 24 being the combined width, you will be short by the width of the spine.

If I am misunderstanding I offer my humblest of apologies.

Yes, she is blind and is the best friend of the bride. All photos of her are with her eyes closed and a strange expression but the bride wants them in.

Oh, forgot to thank you for your advice. I used to use Place when I had Elements but haven't since I switched to PSCC. Hmmmm.....a possibility.

Oh boy, lightchime, you may be correct. I tried to download the "guide" from the album company but couldn't.

Thanks.

I believe that yes, the hugger must be on the viewer's left side in order to end up on the back of the book.

I just got home. Let me ponder.

Thanks everyone for your help. Much appreciated!!

Donna,

The first thing you want to check is on the background image, make sure all 'selections' are disabled before dragging a second image into the background.

Good job, but the hug is supposed to be on the left to show on the BACK cover according to the OP comments.

Thank you all for your help. As it turns out, in order to have the title fall on the spine correctly I had to load individual images on front and back with black background instead of the long wrapped image you all worked on for me. I hope you'll see it as an exercise to practice your skills instead of a waste of time. Again, I thank you all very very much.
