If a picture is worth a thousand words, I think a video can be worth a hundred pictures at least. I also enjoy editing as much or more than shooting the video. That includes editing video as well as sound. If I am creating a video with speech or singing I always use a separate recorder and then sync the track to the camera audio track in the editor and then mute the camera audio track, which is usually not very good. I might spend 20 minutes photoshopping a photo, but can spend a couple of days editing a 4 minute video. It's a whole level of complexity and choices that I really enjoy.

It seems rather straight forward.... kinda'. I just set the dial to "movie" and clicked the shutter button. It began recording but I didn't really have any idea what kind of control I had over the process. As far as focus, I assume it doesn't auto focus, but you have to focus as the subject changes distance from the camera?
So much to learn! And, the microphone was VERY sensitive!
I can see where this might be fun, but it sure takes up a lot of MBs!
