I'm getting a little turned off to this forum and wish that wasn't happening. It seems that there is getting to be some negative communications about other members. I see people being offended by what others have said. I too have felt that way but have chosen not to respond to the insult. This is a forum, people. We're here to help each other out, enjoy communicating with others with similar interests, and offer positive feedback and encouragement as we all travel this path to becoming better photographers. I hope we can all get along and appreciate that we may not all have the exact same techniques or ideas but are all aiming at the same goal.

I too have moved through a period of heartburn, with personal attacks, criticism and name calling. I simply keep myself pointed in the right direction by continuing to post new threads and help the flood of new photographers get their feet wet. I hope to make them feel comfortable posting pics while diving into the growing resource list I've managed to put together. We've been blessed with some new, talented photographers this week, adding to our membership's valuable treasure chest of knowledge and skill.

Because we are a collection of human beings there will always be a few that cause harsh feelings as they seek to disrupt and destroy what we have begun here. They are the extremely small minority. Ignore them and move on to those that are eager to give positive, constructive evaluations and advice. The longer you stay here the more you'll notice the genuinely sincere members that work with the membership. They will stand out from the crowd. My hope is that we all enrich our love of photography.

There is always one bad apple in the bunch....Why let one person ruin something good for you or anyone else....Ignore them and their negativity....eventually they will join in and share some great critiques, or they will just go away!!!!!!!!

I hope it isn't me ;)

I have been put off by a poster, I'm sure it wasn't their intention just the way the post came off over the internet. Instead of calling them out on it, I simply made a funny little comment and moved on. It's hard to read a person's intent over the forum, so I've learned to move past it.

Now straight out name calling and hurtings one feelings are never called for, and I would call someone out on that, in a nice way of course.

I am quite new to this forum but enjoy the oppurtunities it affords me. I enjoy being nurtured by others knowledge and in turn would like to offer what limited knowledge I have.
