Interesting shot. You might see what it does if you crop out the branches to the left - it may make the center tree and the picnic benches more powerful.

Didn't know OK had hills - last time I drove across it (1985, I-80) it seemed flat as a two dollar pizza.

Where I live, it climbs over 1,000 feet one mile north of me.

   Oh my gosh! I lived in Broken Bow, OK years ago. The ex loved making the Talimena drive. You are so right about driving in the clouds. When I first experienced it I was awe struck and can still feel those goose bumps of excitement when I think of that first experience standing on the ground, in the clouds.

JimH doesn't think there are hills in OK let alone mtns so here are several more photos taken from Talimena Dr.

JimH: You should google Oklahoma mountain images. You'd be surprised.

Wrong state or wrong highway. I-80 doesn't go anywhere near OK. :)

Right on I-80 goes through Wyoming and Nebraska to New York if memory serves me. Actually starts further west but I started my long trip from Wyoming.

I-80 goes across Nebraska not Oklahoma. The next one down I-70 goes across Kansas. I-44 goes across Oklahoma from N.E to S.W.

You're right - It was I-40 but I did it in both directions... :)

I didn't say I didn't believe OK had hills, I said when drove across it, it seemed very flat. In fact, the high point is almost a mile above sea level. I will update the reference material... :)
