Last week I drove through Grand Teton park. You could see the mountains (barely) if you got close enough; but photography was pretty much out of the question.

You may have to change your location to "Smokey Sky Country". I think the fire season in the west will be a lot milder next year, mainly because there won't be anything left to burn after the last few fire seasons. Anymore, in California I hear them say the fire season is now twelve months long.
