Fulton County, Georgia admitted to illegally disenfranchising and misleading v**ers in the 2008 and 2012 e******ns in a settlement this month. For more than two dozen violations of state law including improperly rejecting eligible b****ts and sending v**ers to the wrong precincts the county will pay a fine of $180,000. To make sure the problems do not continue in the future, the county has promised to spend an additional $200,000 on new training software for their poll workers.

Wow, that's barely a slap on the wrist...and this is to send any kind of message??? I wonder how much of the problem was people related rather than blamed on software, they'll have to begin changing the people first.

Good to hear from you too. Had to wait 7 mos. for cataract surgery, our wonderful healthcare system you know, not on Obamacare, BTW. A least it is coming to the forefront and people are admitting it. Notice, no conservatives commenting here!!!

How did your sight turn out after the surgery? Most people seem to be lucky enough to have wonderful sight after the surgery. I hope you are one of them!

Yep, sorta. My right eye is 20/20 with glasses but 20/50 w/out which is legal to drive in AZ. My left eye, I had hope for, but no deal. 10 yrs ago I had a retinal bleed which was repaired with laser surgery, leaving me enough sight in the left eye for some depth perception. My cataract in my left eye was mature and opaque. I hoped the cataract surgery would restore my partial sight. "Tractional Scarring" on my retina from the laser surgery left me with retinal detachment and blindness on the left eye.

But, with 2/20 in my right eye with glasses, I will not complain. My right eye is used for the viewfinder!!!

Well wlgoode, since I live in Illinois, I could spend the next week doing a little research on fraudulent v****g Practices in my state...

Around 1980 or so, a Person was arrested here in my small town for Visiting Nursing homes and asking nursing home residents to fill out an absentee B****t.... Since a goodly portion of the residents were infirm, or blind or almost blind or not in their right minds, she volunteered to fill out the b****t for them and then help them sign....

In the e******n she was doing this for , the fraud was uncovered and she spent time in Prison.... Strangely enough each and every fraudulent b****t was found to have been cast for the Democratic Candidate.....

Those of you on here and elsewhere who believe in the OP's title are either blind yourselves or Locked into one party or the other no matter what..

Maybe a few fraudulent b****ts in a LARGE v****g group would not make much difference, but in a small town it can make a major difference.. As the one I spoke of above... which by the way was overturned as the margin of victory was 7 v**es...

Yet that is only a claim, no evidence of v****g twice. When you fear fact checking you believe anything no matter how outrageous providing it syncs with your ideology.

Ahem... R (OS) sight 20/20 with new glasses. Yeah!!! L (OD) blind as a bat. 8 yrs ago I had laser surgery on the L eye to correct a retinal hemorrhage. The cataract in that eye was mature and opaque and I hoped cataract surgery would restore the limited sight to that eye. What is known as "tractional scarring" pulled the retina away leaving me with retinal detachment. However, to be fully sighted in my right eye is far better now. I can't complain. Thanks for asking.

Forgive me if I misunderstand you, but I think v**er suppression isn't the same as v***r f***d.

V**er suppression is keeping someone from v****g, which obviously happens.

V***r f***d is v****g more than once, or v****g when you aren't entitled.

That seems to happen very rarely.
