Which Full Frame Nikon?

I presently shoot with the Nikon D7200, and am thinking of moving up to full frame. My question is, the D610, or the D750. I do not want to go to the D810, so don't expound on that camera, please. I prefer shooting wildlife, sports action, and landscape, so which camera would you suggest, and why? I do realize that I will need to upgrade my lenses also, but that is another post.

Either camera will yield the exact same image. The D750 has a faster processor, bigger buffer, more focus points, better video, a tilt screen LCD, lighter weight, and a few other upgrade features over the D610. You just need to decide if any or all of those features justifies the extra $500 cost of purchase.

Don't forget to consider the other full frame--the Df.

I've been researching quite a bit, but I'm sure someone better informed will chime in. The 610 is a heck of a deal, but I'll go the extra for the 750.

I still haven't decided because my D7100 really is adequate for my needs.

Dave, I have a D700. There are features on that camera I probably won't use. But, my feeling is, it's better to have those features and not use them than to need them, at some point, and not have them. I think your 750 choice is a good one.

I just amended my post re the D7100, but I totally agree. They are on sale for another couple days at B&H. Dave.

Dave, you can't go wrong with either your choice of camera or where to purchase it. Enjoy using it is all that's left to do.

I reallllly love my 610. I only wish it had the new processor. That said I would find it very difficult to get the 750 unless I did not already have the 610. Put a battery grip on the 610 and shoot all day. For me the grip makes everything much more accessible, and it feels better. I like heavy equipment.

You already have a d7200 which is not all that unlike the d750 in what it can produce. You might just want to continue using your D7200 and add a high quality lens like the DX 17-55 2.8. For most pictures, I doubt if you could tell the difference in the pictures between the two. Their all very good cameras including the d700.

Or start collecting high quality FX glass, for the move you are very likely to do to FF anyway.

The new 24-70 2.8 is looking good if you don't already have one!

I have the D750 and love it, it does have a learning curve, as all new cameras.
