Bought the wrong one for my D800 a couple years ago and forgot I had it tucked away somewhere in the back of my 'stuff'. Came across it today and putting it up for any one in need. Brand new, never used (obviously) MC-DC2... $20 including shipping in the US. Here's the cameras it works on:

Is that something you use instead of the shutter button? If so, I'll buy it if it's a good fit for ny Nikon 610

It will fit. See the compatibility list in my post. Yes, you use it to actuate the shutter instead of pushing the shutter button which can cause camera/lens vibration.
