I cannot tell what lens you're talking about from your scrambled subject, Jay, but the closest I can find is the Tamron SP AF 200-500mm F/5-6.3 Di LD (IF), that was introduced 10 years ago, has been discontinued and sells "like new" for about $450. Is this the one you have?
