Thanks LGM,
A feeder is a great way to attract birds to your yard! Remember to place your feeder In a photography friendly location, ie, light source and candid!

I have one feeder with seeds and another for the hummingbirds. They have not discovered it yet. I may need to move them somewhere different. My flowers will be blooming within a month. Hopefully I can attract the butterflies too.

HaHaHa, the seed is for the cardinals and bluejays. I have nectar for the hummingbirds. I've also added a perennial Salvia, Bee Balm and Thrift. Hopefully I can catch one being still long enough to photograph.

Great Bluejays. I have a lot of them but they fly into my cedar trees and I can't get a shot a lot of times. The ones I have are not very good pictures. I've put out whole peanuts for them and haven't had any luck with that. As far as taking pictures of butterflies if you have a digital camer just click away. That's what I do then hit that delete button for the ones that aren't keepers.
