I recently bought a Canon Eos Rebel T6s W/EF-S 18-135mm IS STM lens. Very impressed. I'm looking at the Sigma for birds and wildlife. Seems to be priced very reasonably. Is this a good fit with the T6s? Alternatives?

When the T6S came out, Sigma had some issues. You might want to Google Canon T6S and Sigma to find out what exactly happened. I've learned over the years that sometimes lesser in cost is also lesser in quality. Good luck.

Works good with Nikon cameras.

I have the Sigma 120-400 APO HSM and it is AWESOME - fits great and works great on my Canons. I don't know why it wouldn't work well with the T6 - that is a great camera.
It will be heavy - but I'm sure you know that.

I am extremely happy with my Sigma 150-500 and my T3i.

I have the Sigma & use it with my T2i. I'm not familiar with the T6s. Over 95 percent of my Flikr pics are with this lens.
