Sigma 150-600 Sport arrives on Thursday, working out and walking eighteen with the clubs to get in shape!

What are you going to put it on? And did you considered any other lenses?
I'm not trying to high jack your thread but I per-ordered the nikkor 200-500.

Very wise! Physical therapy is extremely important and can be wonderful for the mind as well. A new lens can also increase your heart long enough for some great cardio-vascular exercise.

Too bad insurance doesn't cover it.....

I never knew that birds and bunnies would turn into such a workout until I got a heavy telephoto for my camera. Enjoy that new lens!

Don't forget that all-important elbow exercise on the nineteenth hole! :-D

Guess you haven't seen the "Lens Flask!" You only remove the small cover and tip. Very discreet, but a long one can get you in trouble!

I just had mine out in the field for the first time last Thursday.
I lugged it around the Zoo for 6 hrs. You won't be disappointed, this is one fantastic lens.
I've been trying to upload some pics, but have encountered some problems with the upload.

Traded in Sig 150-500 that I used for Yellowstone last year, just wanted the extra reach.

RAK, I can see golf for practice if you're going to put the lens on a tee and then drive it!! Otherwise, you need to do some REAL exercise!!
Looking for a ball in the tall grass will be useless!

Walked a hilly eighteen carrying clubs on friday, at the end I was in shock from exercise, it is real enough!

It is a good lens. Invest in a tripod and you won't be holding it up alone.
