Did a quick search on the topic, found some on the loony bin known as the attic, but would rather not have to be assaulted by unbelievers..so, would this be an appropriate venue for doing so?? What say you? I realize that it is totally not dealing with anything having to do with photography, just looking for a sounding board. I come from a born again full Gospel background, so no weird beliefs or cultism involved. Currently attending a General Baptist church, but have also been a Lutheran as well as Foursquare too.

I believe that this forum is for this kind of topics or discussion. I am not familiar with Foursquare Church, but as for Baptist, there is so many different ones that call their self Baptist I would not dare comment. If you would like a forum for just such discussion, I would go to google and search for such a forum under religion or sect, branch, or denomination that interest you. A school teacher always told us not talk about some one's dog, religion, or politics, good advice I have found out.

Before you run off at the mouth check the section that this is in. He put it in the proper section. We talk about lot of things on this forum not just photography, that's why we have all the different sections.

I did not know I was running my mouth. I said that I thought the attic was the proper forum. I just made a comment on the different Churches he mentioned and if wanted another forum besides this one, they can be found by going to Google or any other search. I not I do not believe I am the one running my mouth. Learn to read before mouthing off.

Frankly I am appalled by the un-Christian attitudes and language that is exemplified on the attic. Life is far too short for the type of aggrevation that is often experienced there. The dialog that I was inquiring is definitely mainstream, Bible believing Christianity. Perhaps there is another forum where such a discussion would be more appropriate. Thanks, and may God richly bless y'all!

- - - and in the end times there will be those who paint there Nikon bodies white.

Hey Tigger always interesting to heard your views.

Must be close to end times as I bought a FF.

Yes the Baptist are long and wide, as are the Lutherans.

Went to a men's gathering and a guy introduced himself as a church growth trainer of Americas fastest dying denomination.

I love Hal Lindsay, Chuck Missler and many others that explore End Times. Like denominations it is as wide as long.

My only purpose in mentioning any denomination at all was an attempt to say that I am at home anywhere the Word of God is taught, the denomination is not that important to me,and as to the doctrines and traditions of man as far as they are scriptural, they too are agreeable. Many a time I've just agreed to disagree on different theological positions so that there can be a basis for honest discussion provided we agree on the basics of Christianity.

In the '70's, every New Years, we would go to the service at Melodyland School of the Bible in Anahiem Ca. to hear Hal Lindsey speak. He would talk on how prophecy had been fulfilled in the past year and things that we should watch for fulfillment in the new year. Always a great evening.

Jim, Believe we would be very wise to pay attention to things that are happening in our world in light of prophecy. In fact we are told to do so. If even the "elite" will be deceived why would one not want to become aware of prophecy. To study the real you recognize more easily the false. If you can do a study on Jewish feasts, etc. as to how these relate to prophecy, you would find it amazing. It all centers on Israel. We have a Jewish believer who comes to our church to teach on the different feast. It is very eye opening, amazing, and we are in awe of what we learn. Perhaps Google and seek out this info. If you can't find it, pm me and I will get info. for you. Sandy

Hello again, Forgive me-I used the wrong word. Should have said the elect not elite. Matthew 24:24. I googled "even the elect---" and it gave quite a few different Bible versions all saying the same thing. Also checked with a friend to get the info on the Jewish Feasts. Google the 7 Feasts, Mark Biltz, El Shaddai Ministries. Hope this is helpful. Sandy

Thanks for that. some of my brothers and sister do think that they are truly ELITE!

I believe that God uses Israel for a time piece for End Times. One of the worst Heresies is Replacement Theology, i.e. the church replacing Israel.

Who would have thought only a short time ago as the world turns that Hebrew was a dead language. That many thought the Jew should be relocated from Europe to Africa. That once a country they could stand-up to their enemies and win.

Thanks for the info for 7 Feasts..."elite" instead of "elect" probably one of those great autocorrect happenings.

In the 70s 80s, thought I had future world events fairly figured out, at least as well as possible. However, with the rise of militant Islam with their threat to Israel and Christianity with even worse for those whom they regard as infidels, I have been engaged in an exhaustive re reading of the prophetic books of the Bible, no clear conclusions as of yet, but a very interesting study thus far.
