What caused you to switch from the Tamron to the Canon?

No matter what I tried I couldn't get a sharp image.
That's why I sent it in for the updates.
And apparently, you still cannot get a sharp image? Hence, you're selling it... If it was fixed by Tamron, why sell it? Is it fixed?
Yes it is working better.
I don't have to explain myself to you, sir.
Have a nice day.
Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that you had to explain to me your reasons for selling. My apologies; no insult intended. I was just interested in whether it was performing well in your opinion after it was returned or was still lacking again in your opinion. I've heard both good and bad regarding this lens, especially with regard to Canon versions.
I understand that the Canon lens, albeit 200 mm shorter on the long end, it likely to be a superior performer in almost every other way but at double the price.
Just looking for clarification, that's all.

Kind of a nasty little reply. You could have phrased it better.

I apologize for my curt reply earlier.
I've felt bad about this all day.
ItÂ’s been a bad string of days at work and didn't have much time.
It kind of felt like you were questing me, to find out what I was hiding, rather than asking questions about the lens.
It did have the well known focus issue and that was why I stated I sent it in to the Service Center.
I have the 400L which has become my primary lens after getting the 7D2. I use the 100-400 when in close quarters or the light is just too bad for the 400, and (I think) you're right about the sharpness.
I've read a ton of reviews and posts that say the Tamron is just as sharp and for all I know it's user error. :)
Again, I'm sorry for earlier.
