This is the final set in my series on Central Asia. Would you believe that the Arbol Palace was the Center of a State Collective Farm in Soviet times?

Amazing how the corrupt Communist leaders completely ignore the idea of Communism and make themselves Royalty. We visited the house of Parliament in Bucharest last month. The Communist leaders there bankrupt the country to aggrandize themselves at the expense of the people. I guess "to all according their needs" means the leaders need everything and the workers nothing.

Thanks for looking and commenting. Yes, and this palace is so out of place, beauty they did achieve.

Your extensive travel series have been a visual feast for the eyes--beautifully captured and rendered! Will look forward to the next round from Down Under!!
Hi Diane, good to hear from you again!
Actually, looking at my posting on that album, I don't know what got into me - the album on Tajikistan was the third album in a 6 album series, and I have to get going on the rest now. I guess what I meant to say was that this was the last for the time being, as we took off for down under right after the posting. But I am certainly pleased that you find some merit in these albums.

Very colorful place. I can definately see the European influence in the building and furnishings.

It certainly was a grand headquarter for a State Collective Farm in the Soviet times!
