Last week, Atlanta's pollen count went through the roof. A count of 150 particles per cubic meter is considered high. The previous record was 6099 particles and last week it reached the all time record of more than 9300 p/cm! Pine pollen in a tiny bit of water. I don't have a scale, but the approximate magnification is 300x.

Thanks, Douglass. Everything outside becomes a yellowish-green during pollen season. We all breathe easier when pollen season ends.
