The only way to "MOVE" a photo from one collection to another is to "drag & drop" the photo to the new collection and then delete it from the old collection. True or false?

If you have a block of images then drag and drop is the quickest way, then delete from the old collection if you want to. (don't forget that a single image is OK to be in multiple collections).

Another way, if you are picking through a large or several collections, is to right click on the receiving collection and choose "Set as Target Collection", in grid view scan the images and each time you want to move an image to the Target collection" select it and either press "B" on the keyboard or click on the faint round circle which you will find on the image at the top right. then right click on each and choose Remove from Collection."

Even quicker is to set the target collection, scan through each of the collections and click "b" followed by "6". This will deliver the image to the target and apply a yellow label. When done, using the search filter on each affected collection, choose all yellow labels, select them, right click and choose Remove from collection.

Quicker to do than to explain.

How would I "un-set as target collection" when I am finished? These are excellent suggestions. Thanks, Bob

Just right click on "Quick Collection" and choose "set as target collection"
