Sony HX 400

Was at Best Buy yesterday and noticed a Sony HX400 open box for $199. It has a full warranty. Saw no visible marks on it. Thought it would be a great buy for the price. Any reason not to? Thanks in advance.

Hi Gene. I just looked it up. It is normally a $500 camera. Does it have the V after the number? Reviews on it are pretty awesome. I would put a battery in it and take a few shots in the store.:) If you don't want it, get it and send it to me.:):)

Hi Sidney. I just went at looked at a few reviews of it. I think there are a lot better small cameras out there at the $700 cost of this one. I would look around a little more. The zoom isn't real great on this one. Do you want a pocket camera?

I have a Canon 7D and all the stuff that goes with it including 120-400mm and it's getting a little to heavy to
carry around anymore after 50 years..so am looking for a Camera that has a lot of bells and whistles like my 7D.
is there any such animal ??

Take a look at the Nikon P900 and the Canon SX 60. They seem to be nice little cameras and with give you a big zoom for the money. If you go to the top of the page and type in the cameras ,you will get a lot to look at.
