Nice abstract of the barn. The squirrel looks happy.

Better the squirrel, than we humans, eat that corn... It's animal food anyway. Corn is what farmers grow to fatten livestock before slaughter, and it makes good ethanol. But in its current, 90+% GMO state, we can't properly digest it. At any rate, its unique combination of fructose and oil is an ideal formula for fat storage!

Eliminate wheat, corn, and soy from your diet and you'll lose weight, feel better, and live longer.

I agree. I eat very little of the three. But I do like sweets! Thanks for viewing!

The reason they are so health is that your neighbors grow good stuff.

This is why I have no garden. The little perp and his buds did a number on the nighbor's sweet corn!

and a couple others I've done in the last few weeks.

Nice photos. Racoons are also quite persistent in finding ways to get at sweet corn.

I like the one with the birdhouse, too -- like a painting!

Thanks for the kind words, dar. My neighbor next door had coons last year. They finally just gave up. They had traps, but the little buggers were too crafty to spring them! I did some post processing on the bird house pic to make it rather like a painting.

Interesting set Amy...yes those little furry purp's are very smart when it comes to finding food. I've never seen a tobacco barn with fabric sides like this one.

Thanks, James. The barns were built at the end of last season. I see how they can be much cheaper and quicker to build. How things have changed in the tobacco business since I was a kid! I remember my brother bribing my nephew with a dollar if he would eat a tobacco worm. What an eight year old won't do for a buck! And he did it!
