Need advice from the experts.
I have been using a lanline for broadband but bought a Smart TV and wanted wireless.I can set it up ok on the computer but have to switch off the power at night because it is in a bedroom.Next day I have to set up wireless all over again. Should this happen?

Are you connecting to the TV via a wireless router or ad hoc connection to the pc? If using a wireless router this should not happen.

Are you by any chance missing the/a "Save" command on your TV when you download the connection to the router??

Well, the wireless drops out on the computer so I don't think it's to do with the TV.

When you say set it up again, do you mean have the computer connect to the router each time? If so, there is a wireless setup setting that you can tell your computer to automatically connect to "device name" when in range. Once you check this, it will connect every tine you turn the computer on.
If this is the case I've added below a picture of what you want to find. It should show up under properties for the router (wireless device).

What is now happening is that Wireless drops out in a short space of time. I am now wondering if the router is to blame.I am getting on to my provider. Will let you know.

dont even think about it, take your router back, and they wont even ask questions, but will hand you another... if you are really really really cheap, you can save buying new batterys for the remotes that way.... GBG!!! hee hee
