I posted the first shot a week ago and it was suggested I change the White Balance. The second shot is with the adjustments.

Both versions are very nice, but give off VERY different moods!! Personally, I prefer the original and could enjoy seeing that as a wall mural!

So which one is natural, the way you saw it?

I think the images are very good. But on #2, I would back off on the saturation a bit, perhaps use the shadow slider in LR/PS to get more detail out of the dark rocks in the foreground. And I would increase sharpening to get more detail out of the clouds, For additional experimentation, I would also try black and white as you have good bright and dark elements in the image.

I think you should go with whichever YOU like the best. They each convey a different mood.

Fascinating comparison. If forced to choose, I'd go with original, but I can appreciate the sinister feel of #2 :)

I don't know Bob. The second shot is very interesting but the original has my vote. As I said about an earlier post I love the color palette of these shots.

Second shot looks much more realistic. I love the long exposure and its effect o the surf.
