Good morning, I'm Emmy Vickers from the wonderful state of Maryland. I just learned about Ugly Hedgehog and loving the information and education they provide. I am thrilled to be a part of this forum. I've been using a mid-level point and shoot to its max. My digital photographer instructor was quite impressed and said it was time for a DSLR in order to alleviate the frustrations I had in not being able to capture certain scenes. For my birthday last week I received the Nikon D7100 camera and am so excited!! My niche is four-fold: L.A.W.N. which stands for landscapes, animals, wildlife, and nature which boils down to animals and landscapes. My goal is to bring emotion to those that look at my photos. I love learning, meeting new people, and helping others.
