My wife's sister paints various critters on these river rocks and sells them on craft day at the farmer's market. A lot of the kids really seem to like them.

Susan (my wife's sister) doesn't give herself enough credit. She knocks these out 50 at a time - all by hand.... No formal training.... I have some 'art' she did on 1/4" plywood for the room the grand-kids use when they sleep over. It's really quite good. (imho) Ballerina frog princesses & such.

Tell her GREAT JOB from me
I used to paint on rocks [they were bigger] to sell at shows too, and everyone kept asking me if I had rocks in my head to be hauling them around!

She is very creative, and everyone needs to have a "pet rock."

Thanks & will do.... They are a bit of a pain to haul around and set up but the 1st time you see a kid get excited about his or her 'special rock, it's all worthwhile....

Thanks, I'll send her a link to this thread.... Susan is mobility impaired and a bit of a shut-in so stuff like this can really make her day....
