Hi--these are very beautiful birds and such great photo's including the bugs. What gear are you using to capture Fred and Ethel's neighbors? That's really amazing. No Joke I would like to know because I am saving for a long lens. I love the Sandhills and they come through here around February and March by the thousands. I have even seen a pair of Whooping cranes but they are not as plentiful. Thank for sharing such nice images of such sweet and tender creatures.

I shoot a Canon 7D Mark II, ,which I love,, and these shots were taken with the new Canon 100-400L II
the lens is terribly expensive, but I am finding it worth the money.
