The difference between moths and butterflies....
Butterflies have smooth club-like antennae.
Moths have antennae more like double comb, i.e. teeth on both sides.
So you have above....a butterfly.

Great picture. You can usually tell the difference by the antennae. Butterflies have knobby antennae and moths' antennae are more feathery.
