1949 Packard

A co-worker drives his '49 Packard to work from time to time. I finally took a few minutes to take a pic. Converted to black and white and then sepia with a bit of grain applied to get an old time feel to it.

Feel free to post any other car pics here.

Your photo is very nicely done, it has the right effect for this beautiful car. It was born the same year I was! All kinds of good things happened in '49.
Thanks for posting your picture!

Thanks Danilo. Glad you like it. I believe it's a complete restoration and really is a beautiful car.

nice car. I think it would look really nice with a blurred background so it looks like it's trying to get away from a crime scene.

Definitely not a scene of the crime kind of car, but I like the way you think. LOL. Thanks.

Like Danilo, I was born in '49 also - that was a good year for things to happen - like this beautiful car. You did really good with using the right amount of sepia.

Thanks, Preston. I tried Sepia conversion directly from the color image and it was way too much. Sepia conversion after black and white conversion really seemed to be just right.
