My Twilight Years -

As I enjoy my twilight years, I am often struck by the inevitability that the party must end.

It seems to me that one of the important things to do before that morning comes, is to let every one of your family and friends know that you care for them by finding simple ways to let them know your heartfelt beliefs and the guiding principles of your life so they can always say, "He was my friend, and I know where he stood."

There's enough doubt surrounding the story for me to not believe it's from C.E. However, the content is interesting.

I expect the part about Obama was added in by someone other than Eastwood, although his dislike of the President is known.

In the internet world where people tend to believe almost anything that is on a web page somewhere or comes in an email, SNOPES always seems to have the CORRECT information and it pays to do a quick check.

I have used snopes for a long long time to check on info gleaned from emails and the internet.

My post was not intended to depict a factual event; rather, I found it interesting and perhaps a good subject to bring up and stimulate some light chit-chat... and so it did! As far as SNOPES, there are many Internet sites that also discredit its "fact checking" and t***hfulness. Who do you believe?
