Ed,

As far as I know and understand, keep the latest cumulative update. Others may be deleted. However, I'd check with someone more knowledgeable than I.

I actually swapped out systems recently going from a Dell Precision T-5500 tower with dual Xexon processors, Win7 and 36gig ram to a slightly younger but beefier Precision T-7400 tower with dual Xexon processors, Win10 and 64 gig ram; both 64 bit Pro. So far the transition has been mostly seamless with regards to apps and drivers outlined below -
Photoshop/Lightroom Prescription Plan
On1 2020 Raw
Aurora HDR
Nikon Capture NX2
Logitech Keyboard
Kensington Expert Mouse cordless trackball
One internal HHD and three internal SSD's
Multiple external USB storage devices including two RAID enclousures for Portfolio and Archive.
A four-port internal PCI USB expansion card.
Epson R2000 Printer
Canon 9000 Scanner
Kept my MS Office 2007 Suite
Kept my Quickbooks 2009
Datacolor 5 monitor calibration device

Only hiccup - Nvidia 2gig Quadro video card kept crashing PS - Now a Radeon 4gig MX-580 card.
Primary monitor for editing is a 25" Dell Ultrasharp - Premier Color and a second Dell 27" for browser use. Both connected with HDMI cables adapted to the Display Ports on the card.

This change was to make the move to Win10 and for more processing horsepower as I transitioned from a D800 to the D850.

I am not sure that the user needs to keep anything in a "tmp" directory, but Microsoft has made Windows so confusing nobody seems to know anything.

If I were still a Windows user, I would ask questions like this on a Windows Forum.
