You should mention that this is for the windows preview edition. I am not sure if this will work for the full edition.

I saw somewhere on the web that the ISO file is downloaded in the full version and there was a process to go through to make it a true ISO file.

I will have to look it up.

I have Windows 7 Pro and have checked to see if I have the correct OS for the upgrade. They say I should see a windows logo in the lower right hand corner of my computer. Unfortunately, it is not there and don't know why. I have all the updates, etc. Hoping tomorrow, I will see the logo. confused!

Not a big deal, you can request it directly. The only 'itch' is that your system may not be compliant with MS idea of what is good...

That logo came on automatically on my older laptop but came on my desktop only after I ran a win7 update.

It came up automatically on my big machine too but only came up on my laptop and my other machine after the updates.

According to MS, I have all the current updates. Still not sure why I don't have the logo visible. Maybe tomorrow!

My windows icon in the lower right changed to "notify me when my download is ready" at about 9am Eastern time this morning.. I don't know if they are going to email me or notify me in the icon.

One word of advise guys. Make sure you have a current system back up and bootable CD. You know how Murphy's law works, right? S*it happens.

Backed up my C: drive which has all of my apps and os on it this morning.. D: E: F: G: are all Data drives each is 4 TB. think I need to back them up too?

I assume you already have backups of your data drives. I I am not going to jump on the upgrade yet until I see what shakes out.
