Corn plant root tip

A prepared slide of a root tip from a corn plant. The cells are clearly seen. I would estimate this is about 125 times life size.

Shot with a Nikon D300 and a Amscope compound trinocular microscope.

Thank Nikonian. I'm using a kludgy connector between the camera and the microscope. Been wanting to try photo-microscopy since I bought the scope, but inertia sets in.

Sweet! You're taking us further into the world of minutia. Thanks for letting us see this photo. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Maybe some pond water? Oh the possibilities.
