Amish Signs and Pesty Power Lines

Both of these photos had power lines running through them, Even though Light Room 5 is a small improvement over 4 I still have difficulty with it and usually use Elements 12 for this. The second one also has the front end of a car in the photo which distracts. I tried to remove it and couldn't get it to look right. Just left it. I
will work on it again later. I really need to work on my post processing skills.

You did a nice job with them. Sometimes, trying to remove a distraction only makes it worse.

There's a great program called Snapheal Pro from Macphun software. As the name implies it's written for Macs.

For the Buggy Ride photo- maybe if you had stepped more to the left, you wouldn't have picked up the car.

Agree with this one. Always consider the BACKGROUND before you shoot the picture. Pretty easy to do in landscapes, just hard to remember.
 ;) :P

I'm not sure that would have been any better. The place was packed with tourist that day a lots of cars coming in and leaving . I had to work to get as few distractions as possible without cutting off the wheels of the buggy.

The two times I tried to fix it the fixes were more of a distraction than in the original.

I like these shots very much, Bizzy! We almost took a buggy ride with Aaron and Jessica, but went with Abe instead. It was fun! That was about seven years ago when we were celebrating our 40th anniversary out there in Lancaster! Whew! Time flies when you're havin' fun! :)
