Navy Intercepts Submarine Off El Salvator

The U. S. Navy, Coast Guard, and others have intercepted a submarine off the coast of El Salvador. It was carrying over eight tons of cocaine. Apparently, the illegal drug business produces lots of profit for these guys to have their own submarines. The American people are paying them millions of dollars to get the best weapons and equipment money can buy, and they are also paying taxes to outfit the military with the weapons it needs to combat them. It's good Americans are so rich. We're like weapons dealers, supplying both sides of the conflict.

The drug kings have their way of making bazillions; the world's 'legal' corporations have their way. Either way makes the rest of us poorer and sicker.

Nothing really new about the use of subs by the drug cartels. Nat Geo ha d a special 3-4 years ago showing how they made the subs and they had 5 or 6 of captured subs to show how they operated.

In a way that's a good thing isn't it. I mean that leaves 99% of the cash going to further the poor people in El Salvador doesn't it?

I've heard it said and I believe it. If we didn't have enemies we'd invent them to keep the military / industrial complex operating too keep our people working and thereby keep our economy rolling along.

So it's the poor people sending drugs here? If they're running a drug business and are still poor, they need a good business school down there. :D

I hear one of obama's buses leaves daily from So. America to the states so they can go the college of their choice for almost free then maybe take a few classes in un-Constitutional thinking and business management. That should help the poor and needy drug smugglers. Of course once they get here why bother when tax payers are willing to support them for free. Just a thought.
