To be honest, I do not see much advantage in creating this image as a HDR product, unless it is for a learning experience.

For a true HDR product you need multiple exposures, each with a different Exposure Value applied, then the exposures are merged into one final product.

Your final image could just as well been developed with a -2Ev and a little Post Processing to balance the overall exposure.

HDR processing is intended to expand the overall exposure range of the camera sensor. To be able to recover over-exposed element and under-exposed element in the scene.

If i had run this thru photomatix, I would have scaled back the red a bit, it kind of draws your eyes away from the flowers. It seems to draw my eye to the upper right hand corner... just my opinion, I still like it, it made the flowers pop.
