I have My Photoshop Elements 13 by Cheryl Brumbaugh-Duncan, and like it to a point. It is well written, and covers most topics well. However the more advanced topics are lacking. For instance, It covers making selections fairly well, but then it stops and doesn't cover what can be done with selections. It covers the mechanics of performing a function, but doesn't teach what can be done and how to achieve a particular goal.

I have this same manual and after looking through several at bookstore, decided it suits me the best. Screen diagrams are large and easy to define where to click, the book is indexed well making where I want to work easy to find, and it will refer to a later chapter for further editing which is deep enough for me. Check it out.
