Have been photographing botanicals for about a year now.The challenge made for my self is not to make them look like there from a seed catalog. I want to show them as individuals,stand alones from the group.
Terrific subject for b&w. I love the simple composition and elegant lines.
If this were mine, I might compose so there is a bit more space at the top of the frame, although I know that would make the aspect even taller. Also, the image appears a bit dark on my screen. Does it look OK from your viewpoint?

owen, I'll have to agree with Linda. I think a tad more slider work for this one.
A tad too much on the dark side. I agree with isolating the bloom.
Thank you for viewing and your comments I should have added that I use only Holga, Duaflex II, Diana cameras which are a challenge in themselves.
