He's just plain weird, isn't he?
On the BBC, there was a TV show about the Royals after WW3. They were living on the street, but still acting like nothing had happen.

Not weird, like many folks I know who are... well too smart, what he does is 'normal'.
I was with a friend in Paris that took a fire ax to open his door because he had forgotten his keys. Reason? "It would cost as much to get a locksmith at this hour (2 am) than to replace the door. At least I am home now, not in three hours."
How can you argue with folks like that?
I have many other incidents like that in my life so, when I see someone like Prince Philip, I am not shocked, just amused and in the end... What they say and do is right on. Just a matter of perspective. They do not see the world the way anyone else does.
I almost fell out of my chair when I read the last one. I;m sure there were times when QE wanted to smack the fire out of him

Is it because he's so smart or is it because he can't get out of his own skin and has no compassion? It seems to me his world is very tiny. But you may be right, EW, it's just hard for me to understand. Good food for thought today. Thanks.
As a matter of fact...maybe it's my own world that's small. I haven't had those experiences with people--I wish you'd share more of yours!
Those Royal Consorts say the darnedest things!!!

I do, this why when I post a picture I try to relate it to real life or an experience. Some are really disturbing and not for public consumption other are just weird, strange, funny, sad whatever. We all have these, if we look at them.
Having lived in many countries, since I was born, I met many folks. I have a vision that is interesting but far from unique. Farmers who live in the same place have an intimate knowledge of their land that I envy, even if apparently limited. So the vision is just different, not better or worse.
One trouble point thought... Since I had to learn to express myself in simpler terms all the time and often had to try different words to express the same thing, it has become part of my language and this is why (I think) folks are getting upset. "Is this ***** taking us for simpletons?"

One they did not mention was the prince in Japan talking to students and said if they stayed too long their eyes would slant.
Funny! Love Brit humor! Thank you for sharing that!
