Good capture - just as the ship's going over the edge!

With the P1800, you'll be able to get interior shots. :D

Very impressive demo. Tripod? Hand held?

For interior shots you would probably prefer the P450, leave the P1800 to the birders.

thank you so much, ,the nikon p900 truly is a remarkable camera, as at first, all I saw was a blip on the horizon, from our balcony, and decided to see what it was..

Great shots on full zoom - lone ranger. I have not played with mine much but I have been a bit disappointed with my attempts to capture birds at distances from 60 - 100 meters almost always slightly blurred and lacking the sharpness I am looking for. I have on the other hand been able to take some nice shots at much closer. I have not had the presence of mind to note before taking a pic how much zoom I am actually using and generally go on distance over the ground if your with me? I would be interested to see any shots of birds you may have taken with your P900 ?

i haven't had a chance to do any birds yet, however, I would recommend a monopod, or tripod, as the zoom range on the P900 is extremely powerful, and even taking a breath, could distort a photo, at a great distance, however here is a shot, I took of my cruise ship taken from aprox 2 mile away..
