I prefer to photograph Brown/Grizzly bears but sometimes even Black bears make my day.
A "Siamese" bear.
"Up my nose Buddy!"
"My alarm clock went off too early!"
Eye to eye, who will blink first?
Centerfold beauty for "Playbear" magazine.Yes, it was a female.
Very Nice Alaskan,
Your first one looks like something we might see with Rubeus Hagrid at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
My favorite is the third one you call "Eye to Eye" I like the colors and the capture of the bear exiting it's den.
All of them are great.
Last reminds me of the painting " The Naked Maji "... (not spelled right, but you know what I mean...)
Great shots Ivan......that second one is priceless.

Wow Don, I wanted to call it that way but did not think people would know what I was talking about. So my original title was supposed to be "The Naked Maja".Thanks,Ivan.

A Black bear in a cave is an exposure nightmare. This photo ended with others in a book about bears of Anan. Thanks,Ivan.

Hard to guess, I was slightly below him looking up.They can stretch quite a bit if they want to. Thanks,Ivan.
I love them all, but I especially like the contrast of the snow against the black bear. You always give me something to aim for.

Magnifique! These are so beautiful. I can't pick a fav, but the bear in the snow shows all the details you could want for a snow shot!!! God has given you a very special talent!
You did well with my family Ivan !!
I often wonder how they're doing on the west coast. :P
Thanks for sharing.
