A photographer in my area was banned from public places for 90 days. Here is the story. Please share your thoughts.
And what is the effect of a ninety-day ban? If you're going to ban someone, make the ban permanent - BUT only after due process of law.
both were in the right. their choice of words were seeming incorrectly forwarded.
Both right but handled wrong (photographer) and poorly (facebooker) didn't check or prove assumptions liability may come into play after all is said and done.
Two of you have state that both handled the situation poorly. How did the photographer handle the situation poorly?
Article says partial concealed/crouched signaling something that would be of concern for parents/adults in the area.
Take the time to read:
A local barber who saw him secretly shooting photos at the pool posted about it on Facebook, saying Ludwig was taking photos of kids in their swimsuits.
Guy is a creep.
I think most street photographers strive to go unnoticed. I was at the beach taking photos on the fourth of July and there are many children in my photos. Am I a creep?

Shocking, simply shocking...... A photograph degrading a disabled youngster and another showing another (possibly intoxicated; see the grin) youngster with two wine bottles (probably stolen). And the violence of Robert Capas photographs. Both obviously deranged individuals whose cameras should have been confiscated. And Capa should have been banned from Normandy for nine months!!!

Which window was Ludwig was "lurking around ... crouched down, taking pictures through a window,"
There is a lot more to this story than that which was published. Ludwig's story and actions are contradicted. The police information does not appear to be complete to back up the ban imposed. Carter-Bresson photographed children in France in the 1900's. Ludwig was taking photos near children in 2015. There has been a big change in society's attitudes since 1900. And there is now instant communication. A photographer must be aware of the surroundings
If i were he i would have hired a Lawyer and sued everyone especically the interfering Barber. Who was in fact violating the rights of the photographer by posting stuff about him that was not founded. In fact i would even get the civil liberaties union involved. The problem is that they banned him and he was denied the due process of law.
