The effect is really interesting. It almost looks like there's been an ice storm or snowfall. Since I'm not really familiar with this kind of photography, I can't really judge other than to say it looks like you've been successful so I'll give you a big  and a :D

Thank you very much Vicky, IR is just something different not many people do it even it is so easy to do with a digital cameras converted to IR compared to the film days. I always liked it its a extreme black and white. I never cared for color IR to me it looks funny to have a tree with blue leaves. I hope it cools down as I go to the car show tomorrow.

It was very hard to get a nice IR negative as you know. I use a Panasonic p&s camera that was converted to IR and it's so easy. Try it you will love it.

Hi,
Great shots! I used to do some IR in film, but to get shots this good would have me mumbling to myself for days. Also thanks for the idea, I was going to give my old canon 30D to one of the kids but maybe I will have it converted. If you don't mind, where did you have yours done?
guy

Hi I had it done by a local technician here. Actually I gave him a Nikon Coolpix and some cash. I checked the internet to convert they charge around $180. It might be some more for a DSLR as for a p&s camera.

It's here on the peninsula at the Crystal Spring golf course, right beside the 280 freeway. It's called the Hillsborough Concourse de Elegance.
