It would seem reasonable to use ANY medical procedure only when needed, not for "keepsake" production.

I posted the article because there is a widespread ignorance of the fact that ultrasounds are NOT totally safe. The fancy new ones use a lot of energy and it is especially ridiculous to have them just to find out the fetus' g****r or have a keepsake snapshot.

What of the court-mandated ultrasounds for women seeking to terminate their pregnancies...those are vaginal and highly intrusive. Since you're so anti-choice I would imagine you condone their use.

I've never said I'm anti-choice. As to the ultrasounds you describe I think it's absolutely outrageous and a violation of civil rights to the point of officially-sanctioned assault and battery.
