THE DEAL TO IRAN’S NUCLEAR PROGRAM IS HISTORY REPEATING ITSELF
JULY 18, 2015 COACH COLLINS 1 COMMENT
By Jim Emerson, staff writer

“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it” – George Santayana

30 September 1938 after signing of the Munich Agreement British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain declared “Peace for Our Time.” Despite the jubilation, Adolf Hitler had no intention of honoring the agreement and invaded Poland.

The Iran nuclear deal is similar to the 1994 Agreed Framework Bill Clinton signed with the North Koreans. During his press conference he said “This is a good deal for the United States.” “North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program. South Korea and our other allies will be better protected. The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of nuclear weapons.” Now they have nukes.

Eleven years later Obama said in an address “Iran is permanently prohibited from pursuing a nuclear weapon under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, which provided the basis for the international community’s efforts to apply pressure on Iran.” History will be repeating itself because there is no such provision in the Iran Deal. Obama and his administration have no sense of History. Obama 2

Obama and Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani hailed the nuclear agreement struck with US-led world powers. Obama celebrates because he believes this will be a legacy of his time as sovereign, until Major Garrett asked a legitimate question at a celebratory news conference. Iran is celebrating because they know it’s a joke. The deal legitimizes Iran’s nuclear program. Iran will keep its core nuclear facilities, continue research to develop nuclear weapons, develop missiles, and some sanctions have been lifted. Inspections what inspections? Iran can c***t all they want without the fear of the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog agency timely inspections of nuclear facilities.

The Constitution

Article II. “He (The President) shall have power, by and with the advice and consent of the Senate, to make treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur”. The President can only can negotiate a treaty but cannot obligate the United States to comply with the treaty unless two-thirds of the Senate approves.

The Republican led congress threw that protection away by passing the Corker Bill. This bill is considered ratified unless two-thirds or more say “no!” The Establishment Republicans just guaranteed that the Iran nuclear treaty will be ratified, no matter

Tennessee Sen. Bob Corker (R)

how bad it is. The Congress surrendered another one of its constitutional obligations to stop an out-of-control community organizer. How soon they forget that Americans gave them the majority in congress to stop this Alinskyite. Someone from K Street must have a real sweet business deal with Iran, money well spent.

A Record of Failure

Since assuming office every foreign policy under this administration has failed, why will a useless agreement with an Islamic Republic be any different? Never mind that Americans are being held prisoner in Iran. After all, Iran supports terrorists who k**led Americans in Iraq and Afghanistan. Hanoi John Kerry boasted “this agreement addresses Iran’s potential pathways to fissile material for a bomb exactly as we said it would – with appropriate limitations and t***sparency in order to assure the world of the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear program.” (1) It doesn’t take a genius to figure out that Iran will have a nuclear arsenal before Obama leaves office.

The last sentence in this article says it all. Iran would have never signed off on any deal that was bad for them. Iran tap danced all around bo and his lackey Kerry in these negotiations, and it will come back to haunt us and Israel.

It'll come back to haunt us, for sure. And screw up the Middle East even sooner, and not only Israel; the Arab countries are worried as heck and starting their own nuke programs or accelerating them.

Iran has made it clear that the early goal is to wipe out the Little Satan (Israel) and then the Big Satan (USA) and presumably slightly later, the rest of the "infidel peoples."

BTW, that's a great cat featured as Jakebrake's avatar. What breed, if I might ask?

He's a Tonkinese. Clyde and me have been together for 5 years, and he is indeed a hoot!

Here is some info, if you are interested... :-)
