I use a Kodak Z 990, 1015 IS, and a Z 981. My wife has the Z 710 (hand me down) camera.
"PRECIOUS"
I have been using a ZX7590 for about 6 years now, and my wife has a c360. We are both completely satisfied with them. I decided about 4 years ago to upgrade a little when the right camera came along. I have been considering a Z980 for a couple of years now, waiting for a good price to come along. I also looked into the z981, but the slight increase in Mpixels and zoom didn't offset an important feature of the 980, that is the hot shoe. I sometimes shoot with remote slaves, and I see no way to do it with the 981 (my zx7590 had a PC jack that I could use for the same purpose). The 981 has neither. I got the 980 a few days ago but haven't had a chance to use it yet; my choice was helped along by Steve's Digicams.
The picture of the kitten is very good, I like the soft light
Thanks, Rich Great gator shots!!!!
I have a Z981 and I really like it, but you are right in that a hot shoe can be necessary for many people. I have not missed it. I am seriously considering a Z990 because of the BSI-CMOS.I would like the ability to photograph in low light at rock concerts and I think this will do the trick.
Does a No. 1 Folding Pocket Kodak still count? :)

I'm not familiar with those models. Are they anything like the Brownie I stared with ??
I have a Z981.A hot shoe would have been nice. What I am missing isbe able to put filters on lens (no threads)...
I have had four Kodak cameras and have been very pleased with the prints up to 8x10. I am not a photographer, just a picture taker. BUT I have had electromecanical problems with all four. Three to the point of DNR. I have a Kodak KLIC-5001 battery and charger which i have no use for. any takers? email leej228@yaoo.com

LOL, I meant Henry shouting his title.
Have a Kodak DCS520 that doesn't get much use anymore. At 2mp, my newer Canon's have it beat hands down.
I used to have a Z710. It took great pictures for 3 years until it refused to start one day. The red eye reduction didnt work well but overall took nice shots.
