Near Chesapeake City, MD - creek flows into the C&D Canal.

It looked a bit interesting but perhaps in a few weeks there'll be more green.

Nice shot JimH. I am wondering what that pinkish vertical object is in the center of the photo, do you know? 8-)

Yes, actually it's a surveyor's flag stuck on a branch running across the creek there. They put them there to RUIN YOUR SHOT AFTER YOU GET HOME AND SAY, "AIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII WHERE'D THAT DAMN PINK FLAG COME FROM!!!"

Nice shot. A little bright at the top when the rest looks a little darker. When that happens for me, I switch from auto to manual.

I was in AV mode, as usual. The white sky made it hard to balance the lower part of the scene, and I didn't have any filters with me that might have made it easier. This was just a spur of the moment thing.

I know how that goes with that setting. I have problems with photos that I take with that setting on my camera too. Now I stick to SRAuto, Auto, or Manual. Nice shot though.

Nah...didn't mean it like that, it's not obvious enough to ruin the shot. I was just curious about it, thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. Thanks for answering. 8-)

We're cool - as soon as I put it up, I thought to myself, 'wonder which hog will notice the pink flag first...the Wolf man?..R Hicks? MWAC? or maybe even Bmac?...'; you won the pool. :)

Easy to clone into oblivion.

This is a Creek near my house. The photo is part of one our camera club projects. We did a photo walk of art objects in Boise and then have to fool around with them in PP. The fish is a huge 20 ft. sign in an alley in Boise...upside down. I have no idea what that is about, but here is one of my works in progress for the project.

So a little flag is nothing...

Boy, you guys are tough...I should have just driven back over there and ripped the flag off the tree branch.. :)

How's this? (PS - I don't do Photoshop - so this is just what Canon's DPP offers in the way of 'clone stamping'..
