Good color on #1. Too bad the cardinal's face is partially hidden - moving your camera to the left might have given a better view, if the bird cooperated :)
2nd one - I think needs more contrast between foreground and background. Maybe also a little more soft light from the front (towards the right side) to get the petals out of the shadows.
3rd one I like the light and shadows in this. Only thing I see is the glare on the red flower looks like a bird splat. (maybe it is?? LOL)
Flowers need a less busy background.

nice light - but not real thoughtful use of it.
Excellent use of the golden mean with your flower shots, and that bird gave us just enough to realize his existence! Good shooting!

He's talking about a placement rule, the golden section...almost like the rule of 3rds.
Google it...
Also, I'm almost sure that what he thought was bird poop is a specular blow out on the shiny leaves.
Also dcrob is spot on with his comment about the light....the blinds light would be great but the whole placement of the flowers and such doesn't help.
I would have preferred a much larger dynamic range on the lighting....between light and shadow and a bare wall with the blinds pattern on it....but that's just me.
PS: The bird against the green leaves and the diagonals created from the branches are very pleasing....if the bird wasn't covered, that would have been a good shot.
#2 is too soft for me.
