Had the opportunity to spend some time at the National Aviary last Friday waiting for my cousin to get home from work. It's an amazing place. They have several immersive displays where you're walking through the birds habitat. The Foxbat & Hornbill displays are screened making photography difficult. If you're into birds, this is a place you don't want to miss. Admission is very reasonable. Their website is http://www.aviary.org

There was a herd of kids in the Penguin exhibit. I didn't want to have a teacher confuse me with 1 of their charges.
