Although you must intend it this way, I'd see about lessening the white area (I can't tell if it is a wall or a post??) that going down the middle of the photo. It distracts me as my eyes want to travel over the rest of the image, but the white area is bothersome, just a bit. Otherwise, I find this a very interesting study. I wonder if the human subject is dreaming about his future or recalling memories.

Swan seems to get it. I always have a hard time with these Mr. Spad. For some reason I really like them though.

I like this, Billy! I see an innocence - a young man at crossroads, all the life's choices ahead of him. Which road/s will he choose?

Can you describe a bit about how you decide what to include in your creations? Or if you have discussed previously, provide a link? Thanks!

Hi, a Billy,
The title "Conflicts of Man" and the image, based, as it is on a young man wearing something suggestive of a military get-up seem incongruous to me from the perspective that the former is incredibly broad in the realms of "conflict" that one can encounter in all phases of life and the very specific ( I think) military context imposed by the garb of the major component of the image.

Makes me all the more curious of your intent with the chosen title.

Dave

Thank you all who commented. I do tend to make them a little obscure. Almost on purpose I think so that the viewer can interpret it purely from what they SEE and not be influenced by a title that gives the story away.
The conflict here is any war you wish it to be. Young almost bewildered soldier with a backdrop of a burning building with a military vehicle just crashing through peoples lives.
Probably destined for the failure box as I had to explain it lol

Maybe part of my issue with understanding these is they too obscure. I got the soldier and military vehicle but the other parts were to optic for me to see. Just a thought Mr. Spad.

Very perceptive I think Swan! If you hadn't given that explanation of what this may be about I wouldn't have stayed around to try to guess. We're looking into his mind??
EEEK!
