The CC idea is ok with me and affordable, but they need to get it right before they force their upgrades on us. Sheesh, now I can't see any of my apps and I can't get any updates. I've spent the last two hours trying to find a solution. I'm no dummy on computers but changing things on a system level shouldn't be required to install an app. Maybe a little more time in Beta??
Their support is horrendous, and they really don't care. Take it or leave it. Sometimes I wish enough of us stood our ground and quit paying for an inferior product, Then they would be forced to get it right to re-earn their market share.
I guess the best bet is to go with a stand alone program anymore. Maybe one day they'll actually get it right. Don't get me wrong, I love the programs, it just seems a hurried effort to improve things they sometimes make them worse for the end user.
Rant over, I feel better already

You didn't even say what exactly your problem is and what Adobe's response was. When ever I had a problem ( which they were very few, I called Adobe and the person on the phone was always very helpful and the problem was resolved in no time (no complaints here).
I've had Adobe CC for over a year now, with several updates, and I've never had a problem. Lucky? Maybe, but my experience is the product is solid. (Dell laptop, 8 GB, Windows 7 Pro)

I don't see many other Adobe rants on the Hog. Maybe It's you or your equipment.
HP pavilion, windows 8.1, 2tb HD WITH 2tb external HD.. When it goes to update I get a screen that says cannot connect to Adobe, check my connection and firewall. Of coarse I did. Also launching the CC App I have no access to my apps. PS and LR both still work on my computer but I can't update or launch anything fron Cc App. It's a known issue, it's all over the web with remedy solutions.
I had the same problem about no connections to CC, I checked to see what program I had installed, and learned that I downloaded a trial version, thus the problems after expiration. I called Adobe and they downloaded the products I needed and have had no problems thus far. At $10 bucks a month, it is worth every cent

I'm glad you feel better.
On the other hand, I find PS and LR CC great programs and have no problems.
I guess I've never figured out why grown adults confuse "having specific computer issues with software or hardware" with "this company sucks and their product sucks"
it baffles me.

I have recurring issues with getting a warning that I have two days left, call Adobe support; they are very friendly and tell me they found out it is a technical problem, connect me to Tech support, and then 1/2 hour fixes ensue requiring me to go deep into the directory and rename files, etc.

Twice now I've had to download and reinstall the Abobe CC desktop before an update would work. Don't know why. It you might want to give it a try ( if you haven't already).
It will be interesting to see if I encountered the same problem on the iMac I just moved to.
Call Adobe they should work out your problem
Hmmm, I've been a subscriber since day 1 and love the product. My only issue is when they do a major update I have to reload my plug-ins.
I agree. I just upgraded to the latest cc and now I can't find my perfect suites, nik software, topaz filters etc. This is a pain in the neck and I am reluctant to upgrade again the next time it is offered. I am spending too much time adding my plug ins again. I wish Adobe would get with the program.

Actually maybe you're not a coder, but the fact is that many "computer problems" can be traced back to bad coding, and Adobe is notorious for that. It looks all spic and span and shiny on the outside, but open the hood and it's a nightmare. Adobe Flash is infamous for some of the worst implementation on the planet, such that Steve Jobs refused to run it entirely and just recently it has been blocked by both Chrome and Firefox.
I've always felt that PS had a great user interface and very well-thought-out features, but underneath that the story might be different. My brother is a software/hardware engineer and he says that Adobe is one of the worst.

I totally agree, and there has been lots of complaints online and on this site. I bought the stand alone and it was hard enough just to find it for purchase because Adobe intentionally made it hard to get. They make more money with CC version. That alone is insulting. My version works but there was tons of hiccups to get going. Telephone help is nonexistent. Adobe makes great products but don't care about service or and support. Enough said....
